Hotel-Restaurant Lindenhof in Stuttgart

Was a guest in this old, unrenovated hotel. In which not even the rooms reach the level of a well-run guesthouse and should by no means be called hotel rooms. The crowning glory was dinner, where you ordered the house specialty (Maultaschen), which is so much praised. My conclusion for this house: room disaster, food not even average. But the owner and chef praises himself very much, his poor wife is completely overworked and has probably already given up on the inside.

The new owner is very friendly. The food is great. This place is highly recommended. The interior is now a good mix of old and new and looks fresher than before.

At noon, tell me that it's open at 5:30 p.m. as usual. But then, according to a sign, "closed due to Mardi Gras".

Very popular, varied lunch menu - daily lunch, two menus a week, Swabian and national dishes, small and large dishes as well as salads. Reservation strongly recommended. Simply a nice economy ... ... and one of the last opportunities in Stuttgart to enjoy a great (double) toast Hawaii.

Classic in delicious! We have never eaten mediocre here. It is always very, very tasty. The service is ALWAYS excellent, no matter how busy the place is. Reservations recommended. We like to come back again and again.
